East Ridge Optimist Club Annual Fishing Rodeo

East Ridge Optimist Club Annual Fishing Rodeo at Dickert's Pond located in Camp Jordan in East Ridge, TN 37412. The pond is located adjacent to the Arena. The event is free to kids ages 5-15 years old. There will be free food, drinks and door prizes for all entrants. Trophies will be awarded for most fish and biggest fish for each age group with an overall biggest fish trophy. Register online at eastridgeoptimistclub.org. 

Age Limit: 5-15 Years old

On Bobby Wilson Free Fishing Day June 6th, 2026 all state residents and visitors of any age may fish for free without a license in Tennessee's public waters. Additionally, youth ages 15 or younger may fish for free the entire week, beginning on Free Fishing Day (June 6) and continuing through the following Friday, June 12.
