Join TWRA staff, including Catoosa Wildlife Management Area Manager, Don Chance and TWRA Forester, Luke Hadden to learn how seven employees and four foresters manage over 100,000 acres including oak-pine savannas, forestry compartments, biological data collection, invasive species control, habitat improvements and more. Participants will visit several locations on the area and learn the importance of managing different age classes of trees and a diversity of habitats. PARTICIPANTS MUST WEAR STURDY SHOES, LONG PANTS AND BRING WATER AND SNACKS. PARTICIPANTS WILL BE PROVIDED A MEETING LOCATION BY JULY 26TH, AFTER REGISTRATION CLOSES.
