In Tennessee, boaters born after January 1, 1989, are required to obtain and carry a Tennessee Boater Education Card when operating boats with engines of 8.5 horsepower or greater. Students must be at least 12 years of age. A Type 600 Boater Education Test Permit must be purchased before attending the class.
The class will be held at the Parsons Public Library Event Room in Parsons.
Pre-Registration is not required.
