License Expiration Dates

Annual licenses and permits are valid from date of purchase until the last day of February. Example: If you purchase an annual license on January 1, that license expires on the last day of February of the same year. Sales for the new license year begin on February 18 and are valid until the last day of February of the following year.

Existing Customers

Resident and Non-Resident customers can log in using Customer Date of Birth & Last 4 of SSN (Select "Use Different Info to Sign In" below submit button for additional sign in options.)

New Customers

Resident and Non-Resident customers must start the purchase process by creating a TWRA customer account. Enter Customer Date of Birth and SSN or DL Number.

Residency

Customers must have a valid Tennessee Driver's License or State of TN issued Photo ID to be considered a Resident for fishing and hunting licenses. Residency is verified through the TN Dept. of Safety's online system.

Juveniles

Youth under 16 years of age may follow the steps above to locate or create a TWRA account.

Electronic Licenses

The electronic copy of your license that you receive by email is a true and legal copy of your license. You may also have another email of your license sent to you by logging in to your account and selecting "reprint my license".

Report Your Harvest Online 24/7/365

Customers must check game before midnight the day a harvest occurs. To check in a harvest, simply log in to your account, click report a harvest, and fill out the harvest reporting form.
