Description: Bob White Quail are Tennessee's state game bird and are currently facing many challenges in maintaining healthy population numbers. However, lots of work is being done to make sure these birds stick around for generations to come. Because of this work we are seeing some positive trends across the state to bring quail numbers up! There are hunting opportunities for quail in Tennessee and in this virtual class we will explore the history, style, and cultural value of quail hunting in Tennessee.
This virtual class is conducted by Tennessee Wildlife Federation's Hunting and Fishing Academy. The Federation is a private 501(c)(3) non-profit that works in partnership with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
